DEQ Variance Projects
When a site can't meet standard code, a DEQ variance can still make it work. We navigate the process end to end.

Sometimes a lot simply can't meet the standard septic rules — but that doesn't always mean it's unbuildable. A DEQ variance is a formal path to an approved system, granted at the state level, when the usual requirements can't be met.
We bring in a soil scientist to do the technical work a variance requires — we subcontract that piece so it's done by a specialist — then we prepare the case, work it through DEQ, and design and install a system the state will approve.
What’s included

We build the case and work it through DEQ.
Design & install
Once approved, we install the approved system.
Common questions.
Not necessarily. A DEQ variance or an advanced treatment system can make many 'failed' lots buildable. Let's look at it.
