Our Story

Luke Leonardo,

Owner/Operator, has over 15 years of excavation experience. He started in Northern California working for the family logging company. He soon found his passion in excavation and then began to excel in forestry construction. He has completed projects in stream restoration, logging road construction, mining, timber harvesting, erosion control, and material transport.

In 2011, Luke and his wife, Cassie, decided to make the move to Central Oregon in search of a better quality of life. They fell in love with the area, decided to put down roots, and started Leonardo Excavation in the Spring of 2017. Luke is excited to bring his expertise into the residential arena, and looks forward to helping you with your next project, big or small!
